Oakden Baptist Church began as a church planting project of North Adelaide Baptist Church, back in 1882. The then 'Prospect Baptist Church' ministered to the community of Prospect in Adelaide for some 114 years. In 1996 we moved our church to the new suburb of Oakden and became known as Oakden Baptist Church. Our new property consists of 10 acres of land and buildings. A property which God has miraculously provided for us, thus allowing further growth for our church and youth departments as well as the establishment of a school, known as Cedar College. We believe that God has called us to a ministry here in Oakden. As you will see on these pages we have a large number of groups and activities you can be involved in no matter what age you are.
