The three servants

Leigh: (to audience) Hi..... I've got a bit of a problem. I've got eight thousand dollars..... I know - it doesn't sound like much of a problem so far. I've got to go overseas - I'm not sure for how long, and I can't take this money with me..... Don't get me wrong, I'm going to need the money when I get back, but because I'm going to be gone for a while, I don't want to just stick it all in the bank - The interest rate is not worth it!

Because I don't know if I'll have a job when I get back, I'm going to need some extra money .... so I thought about investing it.... but where?? I haven't got time to look at stocks and investments.... So this is what I thought I'd do.

I've asked some friends to come around, and I'm going to give them each some of the money to invest FOR ME. That way they can take care of whatever investment they choose, and when I get back there will be plenty of money for me to live on.

(Mal walks by)

Hey Mal, How's it going?

Mal: Good thanks - what's going on?

Leigh: I'm going overseas - I'm leaving tomorrow, and I need you to look after some money for me.

Mal: Cool!

Leigh: But - You've got to take good care of it - Invest if wisely, because I'm going to need it when I get back. I've got a cheque for Five thousand dollars, made out to you. Look after it!

Mal: OK! no worries, I'll catch you later.

(Mal leaves)

Leigh: I'm sure he'll do a good job. He's had years of experience with Bank SA - He know's how to look after money! Oh look - here comes John. Hi John!

John: Hi! What did you need me for?

Leigh: I'm gong away, and I need you to invest some money for me. It's up to you what you do with it, but I'll need it when I get back. Here's a cheque for two thousand dollars.. so get my money working for me!

John: OK - I'll do my best!

(John leaves)

Leigh: Well, that leaves one thousand dollars..... and here comes Mike! Mike how's it going?

Mike: Good thanks. What's up.

Leigh: I'm giving you a cheque for one thousand dollars. I need you to invest it for me while I'm away - So I'll have some money when I get back! Look after it!

Mike: I'll see what I can do!

(Mike leaves)

Leigh: (to audience) Well, that's it. My eight thousand dollars is in the hands of those guys! .... I wonder what they'll do with MY MONEY?
